Ok. I have a 1941 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup. I have replaced the battery. Rebuilt the Generator and the Starter. I have checked and cleaned every connection. I have new battery cables installed.
Despite this if the truck sits for a day without running then she won't start without charging up the battery. Now let me say that this is my third battery. The last one I choose is the Allstate Battery. It is rated No. 1 in cranking power. I just don't know what keeps draining the battery.
Now I just disconnect it after driving and reconnect it when I want to go. While this is a lot of fun I would rather not pull the floor and charge the battery. Any ideas?
