You may be right John. I can practice on my hood. I may be able to use a bigger gun now that I have a better compressor. But it is still less CFM than recommended.
Robert, if you are going to clear-coat it it should be no problem. At our paint supplier they told me the first coat is not UV resistance and not durable. The second coat should button it up nicely!
