cuz that's where you put it? you have the wiper arm on in the wrong place - you should take both wiper arms off [outside, inside they're called transmission links], run the motor and stop it to park the shafts, put the arms/blades on in the parked position [both down to the outside] if that don't work you have the tranmission links hooked to the wrong pegs, but that's not likely, I don't think they'll fit opposite - don't forget the little springy doober that clips those links on to the motor framus or they'll fall off shortly! if ya don't have that, the suppliers have'em - called wiper trans arm retainer I think
