So I finally have gotten around to fixing the wiring on my 59 1 ton to have wipers (good to have this time of year. I install the new driver's side wiper in the down position and turn on the motor and the blade tries to move further down. I reinstall the blade in the fully up position and turn on the motor and the wiper sweeps correctly. The passenger side is just the opposite, the blade parks in the down position. Under the dash, the driver's arm attaches to the top of the motor and the passenger side arm attaches to the bottom of the motor. Any guesses why the driver's side wants to park in the up position?
