Internal regulators have been quite common for many years. I don't know about the tractor connection, but the single wire alternators seem to be the rage now for automotive use...next to a 50,000 watt amp in your trunk, a chrome,
single wire bazillion amp alternator is the real ticket. With two teenage boys in the house, you can't walk far without running into a Hot Rod or Off Road Jeep magazine. As usual, I LOVE your site, it's my place to go for solid information and great pictures.
