I pulled the ol 235 from my 58 Grumman (GM chassis). Can anyone tell me what modern engine will fit best with minimal modification? The original engine had a downdraft manifold and carb to save space, I guess. A mechanic said he might try a Jeep 4.0. I would appreciate any input on this quandary. Thanks.
