| | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,867 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,867 | I have a '72 1/2 ton Chevy. What factory rear gear ratios were offered for this truck and does this rear end have a specific name? It has a 307 w/th350 transmission.
My plans are to update to a 350 and 700r4 someday and figure I should look for the best ratio for the daily driver routine in this work truck for best gas mileage.
