I have purchased and returned two modified HEI distributors (not from stovebolt engine co). Both of them far from correct length shaft or location of cam gear. I wasn't going to accecpt anything that wasn't as precise as the original. Hard to imagine that the length was so incorrect as not to drive the oil pump! How do the ones from Buffalo compare?
