Hy Jrpontiac, a couple of months ago a friend called me to diagnose a horrible noise on his newly installed tripower on a Buick Nailhead. I went over and found the engine had a huge vacuum leak, because someone had left the 1/4" pipe plug out of the base of the center carb. This carb is your standard Rochestor 2 barrel carb, if your tripower is using Rochestor carbs, you should have the same vacuum port available for you to use for your vacuum activated accessories, hope that helps.
