I had my 216 engine rebuilt by PER in Portland OR and they knew allot about the old engines. I also had insert bearings added. They told me to make sure to add Zinc additive or to buy oil which has zinc in it. They indicated the latest grades of oil have zinc removed. They gave me a bottle of "Enginetech" ZDDP-3.
