i would always tell my customers to break in the engine for at least 1000 mile before changing over to synthetic,give the engine a chance to seat in with rings,53moneypit is right,why spend the money for oil that you should change every 3000 miles anyway.i have seen engines with over 300,000 miles on the because the owner change his oil every 3000 mile and thats before synthetic oil were around. you right, its your call!
