| | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,867 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,867 | I'd be less concerned about the wheelbase difference than the width of the axle. So what if you need to shorten the axle. It's a fairly simple process.
I don't know the width of either, but I do own a pair of '72's and a stock '53, and I imagine the '68 rear is too wide.
