I do realize that all the time is money... you are quite right. As I can't do this myself especially. I can't even say what time it would take and until I can get a handle on what I need my mechanics to do he can't even wager a guess.
While I don't like the idea of chopping up something old on principle, I only get one life. There are plenty of cars and trucks in museums honestly. To let a truck that I want and that doesn't even have all its original engine, isn't low mileage or very pristine sit around to rot another decade until someone buys it to fully restore ...well it seems far fetched.
So, I have been told an S-10 (oddly for me as that was my last truck)...will do fine as a donor... where should I look to do further homework).
Assuming this is the route I take, I post the add for the '42 panel frame on Stovebolt etc so someone restoring one to buy so they can use it as their base ?
