Just got this truck and the kid who had it decided to put in a stereo and take out the stock radio. well, the "butcher" decided to cut the dash to make it fit, which by the way was not even close, as the stereo sticks out about 3 inches from his handy work. So I have to find another 66 p/u and weld in a new piece, yes he really did make a mess. Anyway, when he installed the stereo, he wired it directly to the battery,
which I assume is not the correct route, since I can never shut the thing off! Im not much into electrical things but I was hoping someone can inform me of the correct procedure of wiring this.
Of course I will have to fix this other mess
first.
One other question, the turn signals work but will not release and shut off after I make a turn. Do I need new innards or maybe just some wd 40? thanks for any help you can supply.
