IMHO, CPP better work this out with you until you are happy! The communication systems of today can make a bad reputation spread like wildfire. Just think about the potential business they can/will lose from this forum alone. Your complaints seem very legitimate!
If they do the right thing and make it all better, of course, you should let people know that too, just to be fair.
