Some AT trannys can be adapted to inline engines and most V8's will readily work. I think it is really difficult for anyone to properly recommend something without a lot more information. It would appear that you like the A/OD transmissions but do not say. The rear end will also play a part in the best choice. Is it stock or an open rear? What ratio? Some of the people here are pretty knowledgable and can help but they will need your input. | | |
