We run some electric delivery trucks at work that are really cool. The idea is great, but the amount of electronics is overwhelming and the power it takes every night to charge them far out paces fuel prices for a same size diesel truck. If you could figure out how to simplify and make it DIY, that would be a cool option. Load the bed with batteries and replace the 216 with a big DC motor, then pull into a show dead quite!
