I've got a broken water pump bolt on a chevy 350. Not that big a problem, right? Well, it must have been grade 8 cause it will not drill.I finally got enough drilled out and easy out, with heat, broke off inside the bolt. Now can't get either out.
Thought about making a stud, but block is cast, so cannot weld it. Does anyone think a good brazing job would work well enough for a water pump stud? Or am I on the way to the machine shop?
