On a 48 the same lever is moved to the left of the clutch.
On a 52 you should have a foot operated style that mounts on the left side of the clutch pedal and a hand operated release lever under the dash that would be operated with your fingers.
Look for a set up from a 49 to 54. All the parts should interchange. I will check I should have the pedal and release rod. | | | |
