I've always wondered if things like camber, caster, toe-in, etc. could be measured by the shade tree mechanic or whether it could only be done in a garage with the proper equipment. If your margin of error is only 1/8", it seems there are lots of chances to go wrong with a tape measure and scribe marks on the tires. Never having tried it, I don't know, but I was wondering.
