If you have a lot of side-to-side play in your steering, does the adjustment shown in figure 7 address that?
Is the side-to-side play in the steering mechanism (do you turn the wheel and not get immediate response)? Or, is the side-to-side play in wandering side-to-side when driving?
- Have you checked for looseness in your other steering parts?
- Have you adjusted the toe-in?
