Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 310 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 310 | I tried a double action fuel pump before I switched to electric wipers. It didn't help much. What helped most was a vacuum reservoir. You know, it looks like a large tin can with a hose coming out of the end. Make sure it has a one way valve on the end to keep the vacuum from feeding back to the manifold.
As far as the transmission, mine are the same way. I've pondered this and come to this conclusion. If they were tight, that would add friction and make the wiper motor work harder. The way I figure it, the loose pivots keep from adding too much friction. Any other thought???
