tclederman Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Jarvisburg, NC, USA	I agree with red58 on the 9BL 9 = Norwood plant BL = 1942 code for a 3/4 ton with standard 216 engine However, the 41 is not what is shown in the spec manual - those two digits are supposed to be for the month? Maybe a military truck had some other code placed there? Tim 1954Advance-Design.com 1954 3106 Carryall Suburban 1954 3104 5-window pickup w/Hydra-Matic The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.
