hope you find someone to show up, but meantime I'll suggest that you start putting old ignition parts back on [assuming you didn't chuck them], one at a time - start with the plug wires .... doesn't sound like anything you did wrong as much as defective replacement parts .... your original problem was more likely fuel than ignition, like flooding at shutdown, in combination with the starter getting too hot [the slow cranking]
