I have a 46 Chevy truck with the original 216 in it that probably hasn't been started in 30+ years. I have the engine electrical system back together again and can't seem to get any spark. I am using a 12 volt battery, so that may be an issue?? I have some good spare parts (ie coil, distributor, carb) off of my 1957 235 that I would like to use for this engine, but was wondering if they could be used. Will they fit no problem?? I did notice that the intake manifolds have different center to center carb studs, so I will have to make an adaptor.. I was thinking about using wood, unless someone else has a better idea. Now I am wondering if the distributor will fit. I like the idea of having vacuum advance on this motor. Any ideas guys?? Thanks!!!!!

Oh, It's on the "Working Bolts" calendar for the month of July if you want to see it!
