the cylinders were honed. Nothing more was needed. The engine was already bored .060 ......probably when grandpa had it rebuilt in the 1970's. For those who are interested, I am awaiting the arrival of new rod bolts so I can seal this rascal back up and get rid of that lock washer. I'll check the clearances when I pull the caps.
