Check the numbers stamped on the top of the fuel bowl covers, if the numbers match then the carbs should match. Stromberg made several different carbs, but the BXOV-2's are one of the best for 2X1 setups. Very reliable and easy to tune.
A good size for the 235 are the ones with a 1 5/23" venturi. That number would be cast into the carb right next to the gas inlet.
The early Strombergs BXOV-2's would fit the Offy intake for a 216 CI. The Offy intake for the 235 had a wider carb bolt spacing. But you can mill out the bolt holes on the BXOV-2 base to fit the wider 235 intake or you could use an intake for the 216 with the BXOV-s stock base and use it on a 235 CI.
If you have a matched pair of BXOV-2's with the 1 5/32" venturi you have a lucky find.
