As long as the manifold inlet is larger than the carbs base you won't have any problems. The other way around would be a no-no.

You have a pair of 1 5/32" venturi BXOV's, this is good, but the numbers stamped on top of the fuel bowl covers will tell you if the two carbs were at one time a match or not. If the numbers stamped on top of the fuel bowl covers match then the only sure way of telling if you have a matched pair is to disassemble them to make sure that the power by-pass jets match, the main pump by-pass jets match, the main jets match, ,and the idle tubes match. Only then can you be 100 percent sure that you have a matched pair of carbs. If you get this far and everything matches you will be very happy with your Strombergs.
Don't get rid of your 1 3/32" strombergs just yet. I am working on putting 3 of the 1 3/32" BXOV's on a modified 261, which I think I can tune them for a daily driver. My project is still in the works. If you got the time check out my project and my Stromberg carbs at,
