This is a question for those who have experience with T-5 transmissions.I have a few of these units,Camaro style with the 2.95 first gear ratio.I know there are World Class and non World Class units,and the WC trannys have upgraded syncros and needle beraings on the lower gears.Aside from these differences,is there any real additional torque capacity with a World Class transmission? The T-5 is going into a pu truck with a mild V-8 of around 240 HP,no drag strip action,but the pedal will be floored when necessary
I'm assuming these are similar to the Mustang T-5 that appear to handle reasonable abuse in lighter vehicle.
