You are right on the difference between the WC & NWC. I understand there are stronger mainshaft & some gears are stronger. Iv,e put 2 of the NWC from S-10,s in pickups behind 350,s. I,m currently running one now & have had no problems. I,m like you if a guy doesn,t do burn out,s or speed shift it will probably last forever. I,ve got a WC in my Mustang with 5.0. I rebuilt it & it is working good. I believe your Camero,s are WC,s.
