Old Cars Weekly magazine puts out a price GUIDE that may give you some insight.
I just looked up your truck in the December 2011 price guide and here is what it says for a Heavy Duty 1 Ton. I didn't see a
1 1/2T. But for the 1948-1953 Heavy Duty 1T Stake it list this:
#6-$760 #5-2200 #4-3800 #3-8780 #2-13650 #1-19500
If you understand the rating #6 is a basket case/parts truck and a #1 is pristine. (There are very few #1 vehicles, very few)
A #4 for example should be a driveable vehicle needing only minor work to function as it should but it still needs a lot of help.
They have been following old cars and truck trends for years. However, it is just a GUIDE and I treat it as such. I've rated vehicles as a half meaning inbetween 1-6. Tires, engines previous work, body panel condition all have to be considered.
Also, since you have a BIG BOLT you may want to check in on the BIG BOLT discussion forum.
Welcome to the Stovebolt. This is THE place for Stovebolters.

I hope this helps in some way.
