Calling all rearend gurus.
I'm helping my uncle with his '65 C10. It has the original 12 bolt rearend that the spiders just locked up on him. Long story short, he had a grinding in the right rear. When I pulled the wheel off the backing plate was distorted due to the wheel bearing coming unglued and the axle shaft moving up a good 1/4". When I pulled the cover the fluid oozed out like tar. The rest of the bearings don't have any slop but the spiders are siezed to the center pin. I can only drive it out about a 1/2" either way before my drift starts sinking into the pin! (First, I should state the obvious: I did remove the retaining bolt!

) I've tried heat, PB Blaster and a BFH. I can see where the gears have scored the pin.
Does anyone know what year spider gears are compatable with this rearend? He's kinda low on funds right now so we want to go junkyard surfing until he is able to upgrade. I've searched all the sites I know and have only come up with Classic Parts as offering the pin but not the gears. The truck doesn't see much use, but he wants to be able to hit the big cruise at the end of the month.
Thanks in advance........
