You really need to repair it correctly, brakes are not an area to cut corners on repairs. Replacing the steel line to the T shouldn't be too difficult or expensive to do. Using a hose and clamps, which would not really save much money, will not hold up to the pressures created when the brakes are applied. It would be a guaranteed failure.
