Clamps won't hold the pressure. First time you really need the brakes and stomp on them - like when some idot pulls out in front of you, the lines will pop apart and you'll have no brakes. Spend the couple extra bucks and replace the line. Most parts store carry the new Poly Armour lines that you don't need a bending tool for. They will bend almost 180 degrees without kinking. Also for less than $15 get a set of flare nut wrenches. This will keep you from rounding the flare nuts on the old line when removing them and let you really tighten up the fittings on the new line.
