Chris, Under what conditions do you hear the noise?
Hi Dave,
I started to hear a little clatter earlier this summer. Its present under all conditions. I just finally got around to adjusting the valves and couldn't seem to get rid off all the residual chatter.
A buddy of mine came over last night and thought maybe I had a little too much slack on the lifters. I turned the motor over and didn't see any obvious lack of movement in any of the lifters...so maybe I just need to get them adjusted correctly. The battery is dead at the moment, so it will need to wait until tomorrow.
