Turning the switch to the right allowed the truck to be turned off and the key removed, and then all it took was a movement to the center position with the handle to restart. If the key was turned to the left and removed from the switch, the key was needed to turn the tumbler again. Turn left for engine off and lock, right for engine off and restart without needing a key. I rode a school bus for many years that was set up that way. Jerry
