Someone Cut with a hacksaw our parking brake cable near the front, so we can't hook up the brake to the handle. I was wondering if there is anything that would work to fix that, I would be ok with something new from the parts store if it would work. We need the brake to function so it will pass inspection and be safe. Not sure what we could find that would work maybe compare wheel base's with a newer truck and see if we could make something happen.
Also, I can't get any Pedal in the brakes. I installed new lines in the rear, and Was attempting to bleed them but I cant get any pedal/pressure to build up. Is this a sign that the wheel cylinders and or the master cylinder is bad?
If so is it worth time to attempt a rebuild on the wheel cylinders or the master cylinder or just replace with new one's from Carter's?
