Hello, Please describe "stomp start". I just replaced the battery. < 1 year old. The previous battery had a damaged positive cell, closest to the post.
when cold it started the second I pressed the button.
After warming to >180deg I turned it off and waited 10 min. and the draw at the battery was 2 volts, didn't want to start.
Engine has original 83K miles.
