I would check your ballast resistor, they will sure trip you up. Also if you have an old coil just hanging around hook it up and see what happens. One time on my Indian, I put on a new coil and it ran like junk. Could not figure it out, put on the old coil and once again it ran like a top. Good luck, its minor just hang in there you will get it.
