Latest update: first the National Corvette Museum is a great place! However, it is a corvette place... If you ever get the chance to visit, you will not be disappointed as it is top notch. I spent three days looking at all the cars, parts and exhibits. It is World Class in every way!
However, I have decided not to transport my truck 750 miles and back. It is a real haul and more than I am willing to undertake. I guess in the excitement of the moment, I didn't realize just what it would take for me to tow it over the mountains and back. So I notified the National Corvette Museum that we would not be arriving as I had previously agreed.
I am disappointed but in the end, I think it is the best and safest choice.
