Another thing to do to keep your wheel/tips from clogging is clip a little piece of felt on the wire prior to where it enters the machine (using one of those lever type paper clips). I have also used ear plugs and cigarette filters it wipes all the stuff you can't see off the wire prior to it going through the roller, guides and tips. No contamination is the goal as far as welding goes.
