When I used the material you are using, stevebolt, I used Liquid Nails with a caulking gun. That'll hold it!

No, it isn't the kind with an adhesive backing.
The floor is no problem, it's the firewall. I want to run it all the way up the firewall and on the underside of the cowl. That's a lot of vertical space, so I need a good way to hold it up there without falling down.
