I recently bought a 1961 Chevy C 60. It was bought new by a lumber yard and then went to the seller in 66, so it's not had the usual trail of various owners/ repairs. They did have the 261 rebuilt when it threw a rod, so it's been apart. It now has a 12v positive ground, I'm assuming they maybe changed the generator, the fields were reversed so they just went with it? I'm thinking I could change it back, switch the polarity back on the generator and be all good. Thoughts?
