Measure cranking voltage at the starter, one lead on starter frame and the other lead at the copper post where the cable connencts. Should measure 4.5v or more. You can measure voltage drop on each cable and each connection while cranking. Doing this you can determine you're losing voltage. Any hot connections or cables are trouble points. Don
