Twotone, i have no idea if I have it at TDC, ive never worked with a distributor so thats all foreign to me. i believe im close to tdc only because i have it set to where the first intake and exhaust pistons are up with the valve cover off. maybe my distributor is advanced or retarded too much... HOW DO I TELL??
which is the correct timing mark on the flywheel for my '51 gmc 228?
The triangle, the bb, or the UDC letters?? so far everybody has told me something different.
when i set what i believe is tdc from the exhaust and intake way, the mark closest to the pointer is UDC
I shall take the starter off tomorrow after school and check the bushings... anything specific i should be looking for?
