HI...well I bought the light from Kragens for about 45 bucks. Its the simplest one they sell made by Eqqus and its number 3535...I had a light many years ago and sold it as I thought they were obsolete. I have timed engines before and I know where the marks are on the 235 I put white paint on them, all that being said how in the hell do you crane your neck to see the marks? I think I will put the engine on TDC then mark the damper pulley and somewhere else?...OR...do you have a better idea on how to see the marks on the fly wheel?....Why did they put them there to begin with? Can I use a vacuum guage to time? I'm deaf in one ear and can't hear out the other so sound timing is OUT.. I need to install my HEI unit why am I so lazy? THANKS,Steve :mad:
