bigbadswingdaddy Shop Shark B Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 1,897 san francisco	As for timing... if the pointer is on the timing mark, your engine will be on the compression stroke for either cylinder number 1 or cylinder number 6. The valve wiggle meathod is one way to figure out which cylinder is on the compression stroke. The finger meathod is another. I will repeat, if you have fuel and spark, and the timing is close, and the engine still isn't starting, a compression test is in order.
