- It IS a Velcro-looking product, but more like velvet or tough felt. From your description, I think you got the right item. I see what you're seeing in the linked photo, and can understand your confusion. The nap looks pretty high on Squeeze's photo. Mine that I bought about 18 months ago wasn't nearly so high. Bill, could your liner be of older vintage (i.e. better quality than the liner offered nowadays?) The nap on mine is about 1/16", probably no higher.
- The only "fuzzies/scrubbers" I have on my 'bolt are the felt liners for the gap where the side windows (not vent, but rolling up-and-down windows) disappear into the door skin. It is sold as a rigid metal bar with felt attached.
- I had to drill out my rivet heads.
One last point (as I expose my ignorance:) make DANG SURE that the vent window and the rubber gasket are situated so that it opens correctly. I used the driver's side as my go-by, and failed to consider "outboard/inboard" and now have a vent window that flaps the wrong way. I need to go back and relocate the gasket on the opposite side and fix the window swing direction.
