Does the chrome vent window assembly supposed to have some raised bosses or is this part of the old original rivets? Also, it appears that the previous owner just glued the old division post seals on. My question is this, is glue used to install these, just rivets or a combination. Also, when using rivets, I assume you rivet from inside the channel (door glass side) and can I just use regular pop rivets if I can get my rivet gun to fit? It seems like the rivets would show from the seal side...won't that interfere with the vent window sealing up against the seal itself????
