Your critical dimension, from the back of the block to the front of the crankshaft pulley, is about 31-1/4", on a 1961 261. The water pump and fan will add a couple of inches, depending upon the use of a short or long water pump. The height from the bottom of the oil pan to the top of the carburetor air horn is about 30".
